Reasons Why we can't live Without Water

Two atoms of Hydrogen and one Atom of Oxygen: A simple equation for such a seemingly simple substance. And yet;Water is something we simply cannot live without. It surrounds us, marking national borders and territories. It's flowing under the earth and floating as clouds and vapor in the sky. It's in our bodies. On a biochemical level, it is an essential component for our continued existence, survival, and well-being. We need it to function properly, and we constantly need to drink it, or we cease to exits. Here are some reasons why our bodies simply can't live without water: Water protect our spinal cord, joints and tissue -Drinking water helps moisten, cushion, and lubricate our joints, spinal cord, and body tissue; allowing us to engage in physical activity on an optimal level. Water also eases the discomfort caused by arthritis. Water helps us perform physical activity better-Hydration affects our power, Overall strength, and endurance. Drinking water helps us perform e...

How To Help Stop Pollution

Stopping pollution is important for the survival of our planet and even more importantly, the health and well-being of the people who depend on it. The air we breathe is laden with hazardous contaminants, and our oceans and waterways have been poisoned with chemicals. Left unabated, pollution could leave us with a planet earth sapped of its beauty, vitality, and diversity. Keep reading to learn about some practical ways that you can help stop pollution. Making Sustainable Transportation Choices     1.Walk or Ride your bike whenever possible One of the best things you can do to help stop pollution is to stop using your car for short trips. If the weather is nice and you don't have too far to go, consider walking or riding your bike. You will help reduce air pollution and you will get some exercise and fresh air in the process.     2.Use Public Transportation Riding the bus, train, or subway is another great way to avoid using your personal vehicle and reduce ca...

Save Endangered Animals 2022

Worldwide, 90% of all living creatures are on the brink of extinction. You can help them. There are many things we can do to help endangered animals, here are a few suggestions. Protect wildlife habitats. Habitat loss is one of the biggest causes of extinction. Educate others. Stay away from pesticides and herbicides  Shop ethically Be an ethical citizen, tourist and when you see endangered animals threatened let someone know immediately. Or email us and we will try to help contact the appropriate agencies or individuals. WHY SAVE ENDANGERED ANIMALS? There are many  endangered animals that are at risk of  extinction. What that means is that we are at risk of losing these animals completely. We put considerable time, effort and money into saving endangered animals, but why? Extinctions is an natural process that would happen with or without humans. But, while that is the case, research shows that extinctions are happening quicker now than ever before. And, loss of habitat ...

What is The Global Warming?-

What does the Oxford Dictionary say about it? Global Warming is a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased by levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other Pollutions. How about that in simple language... Global Warming is an effect to unusually rapid increases in Earth's average surface temperatures over the past 100 years mostly because of greenhouse gases release by humans and nature burning fossil and natural fuels.     1.What are the effects of Global Warming? Global Warming, the gradual heating of Earth's surface, oceans and atmosphere, is caused by mostly the activities of people, primarily because of the purposeful burning of fossil fuels that release carbon dioxide, vehicle exhausts, methane's and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.  Also, natural causes occurring by releases of smoke through forest fires and volcanic explosions. The effects ar...

How to Stop Air Pollution

How to help, lessen and even Air Pollution in your community: The number one biggest thing that you can do is to drive less. Vehicle emissions are one of the major sources of air pollution. Join with your local community to think of ways to get things done that don't require a car, such as bikes and transit systems. If you must drive, if you can, switch to electric vehicles. See more specific ways below in other categories. When Elevated Air Particle Levels are Forecasted, Do your part to reduce Air Pollution by: Don't burn leaves, trash, and other smoky materials. Don't use gas-powered lawn and garden equipment like blowers. Delay the number of trips you take in your car or motorcycle. Lessen your fireplace and wood stove usage. Don't barbeque in your grill. If Elevated Air Ozone Levels are Forecasted, Do your part to reduce Air Pollution by: Reduce idling of your automobile and motorcycle  Conserve your electricity and make shorter excursions, Set air conditioners at ...

About Climate Change

What does the Oxford Dictionary say about it? … A change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels. How about that in  simple language.... CLIMATE CHANGE is a long, decades or centuries based, change in the world's climate, primarily a change based upon an increase in the average atmospheric temperature. What are the effects of climate change? Climate Change is having very profound impacts on nearly every aspect of our environment, especially on the world-wide water system networks through increased flooding and ever-widening droughts. As the climate temperature rises, then air can store a higher water content, which logically then make rainfall amounts, as they move across the globe, more extreme. Rivers then wash away more soil into the oceans and lakes, creating pollution and destruction of our ...

Empowering Community Energy 2022

Through the reduction of dependence on fossil fuels we can make our land, our air, our water cleaner and more healthy. Nearly 85 percent of the U.S. energy supply comes from fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas and oil. Fossil fuels take millions of years to form and are thus considered to be nonrenewable. Higher energy demands and poor efficiency practices have increased fossil fuels usage, and it's now critical to find alternative means of energy generation before depleting the global supply. It takes individual and community actions to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels. CONSERVE ENERGY People can do simple things to decrease energy consumption. Energy consumption can be reduced by simply turning off lights when a room is not in use, replacing light bulbs with longer-lasting florescent bulbs and only running air conditioning when a home is occupied. Other steps to reduce fossil fuel reliance include ensuring your home has efficient insulation for heating and cooling purpose...

Water Pollution

We already know that Water is the most important resource on the planet. It is the essence of all life on earth. And yet if you ever see a river or lake around your city, it would be evident to you that we are facing a very serious problem of Water pollution. Let us educate ourselves about water pollution. Water Cycle Two-thirds of the Earth surface is covered by water, seventy-six perfect of your body is made up of water. As you already know water is everywhere and all around. However, we have a fixed amount of water on earth. It just changes its states and goes through a cyclic order, known as the Water Cycle. As shown in the image above, the water cycle is a natural process that is continuous in nature. It is the pattern in which the water from oceans, seas, lakes etc. gets evaporated and turns to vapors. After which it goes through the process of condensation, and finally precipitation when it falls back to earth as rain or snow. What is water pollution? Water pollution ...

Recycling is Best Ways

The Recycling Is Best Ways Our Worlds is being destroyed by the waste that we leave. land and oceans are filled with trash, poison and plastics. Recycling is the process of collecting and processing materials that would otherwise be thrown away as trash and turning them into new products. Recycling can benefit your community and the environment.

Reducing Pollution Of Every Kind

Reducing Pollution Of Every Kind We can all work together to discover solutions to the massive problems in reducing pollution of all kinds. It can be done. What is Pollution Prevention? Pollution prevention is any practice that reduces, eliminates, or prevents pollution at its source. P2, also known as "source reduction," is the ounce-of-prevention approach to waste management. Reducing the amount of pollution product means less waste to control, treat, or dispose of. Less pollution means less hazards posed to public health and the environment. Specific Pollution Prevention Approaches Pollution prevention approaches can be applied to all potential and actual pollution-generating activities, including those found in the energy, agriculture, federal,  consumer and industrial sectors. Prevention Prevention practices are essential for preserving wetlands, groundwater sources and other critical ecosystems-areas in which we especially want to stop pollution before it begins. In the...

What is ecology? and What is Environment?

WHAT IS ECOLOGY? ECOLOGY is the study of "life at home" with emphasis on "the totality or pattern of relations between organisms and their environment" (Merriam Webster's Collegiate, 10th edition, S.v. "ecology" Ecology is the science of all the relations of all living organisms to all their environment.(Taylor, 1936) Ecology is the study of interactions, distribution patterns, and abundance dynamics of organisms at varied scales of resolution. The study of living organisms in the natural environment. Ecology basically means the management of the household, or the management of the living space.(Earnst Haekel, 1866) Ecology is about the economy of nature Integrative discipline that links physical and biological processes and forms a bridge between the natural sciences and the social sciences(E.P. odum 1977) Ecology and its domain Ecology is an interdisciplinary science. It overlaps with many elements of physical and biological sciences. WHAT IS ENV...
